The MSME Digital Grant MADANI, or "Geran Digital PMKS MADANI (GDPM)" is a Malaysian government initiative aimed at helping micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) adopt digital solutions. It offers a 50% matching grant, up to a maximum of RM5,000, to eligible businesses for the implementation of digital technologies. This program is a joint initiative by the Malaysian government, supported by key agencies and partners, including:
Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN)
Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC)
Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), and
Funding Societies (FS) as the official application platform provider.
There are seven (9) types of digitalisation services available as follows:

HR Payroll System/Customer Relationship Management (“CRM”)

No. The grant is open to all eligible MSMEs, regardless of industry or sector.
Each eligible MSME can receive a 50% matching grant of up to RM5,000. For example, if the digitalisation service cost is RM8,000, the MSME only needs to pay RM4,000, while the remaining RM4,000 is covered by the grant (capped at RM5,000).
Yes, MSMEs may apply for multiple digitalisation services, provided the total grant amount does not exceed RM5,000 and the 50% matching rule is applied.
The approval process typically takes 15 – 30 working days after submission of a complete application with all required documents.
The program will run until the allocated fund is fully utilized.
The following documents are required:
Copy of business registration (SSM or equivalent)
Copy of MyKad / NRIC of business owner(s) / director(s)
Business financial statements OR latest bank statement
Latest EPF statement (if applicable)
Company’s latest utility bill or tenancy agreement (for business address verification)
No. Only Malaysian-owned MSMEs (with at least 51% equity held by Malaysians) are eligible.
No specific age limit, but applicants must be legally registered as business owners with SSM or equivalent.
Yes. The business must be in operation for at least 6 months before the application date.
No. Only businesses registered with SSM or equivalent agencies are eligible to apply.
The program is open to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), regardless of the number of employees, as long as they meet the MSME definition by SME Corp Malaysia.
No. The grant is strictly for MSMEs only.
Yes, as long as you are applying for new digitalisation services or upgrading existing solutions, subject to eligibility and grant limits.
You will receive a notification from the official application platform provider (Funding Societies) once your application is approved.
The MSME pays 50% of the service fee to the appointed service provider. The remaining 50% (up to RM5,000) will be paid by the grant directly to the provider after approval.
You may contact Funding Societies (FS), the appointed platform provider, or reach out to your chosen digitalisation service provider (e.g., Accordia Global Sdn Bhd) for guidance.
A company may only receive the grant once but can apply for multiple digitalisation services in a single application, subject to the RM5,000 cap.
You may re-apply after addressing the issues stated in the rejection notice, provided the program is still ongoing and funds are available.
Yes, as long as they are registered with SSM and meet the other eligibility requirements.
